Pastor Daniel Meyer
On November 27, 2004 my Wife Connie and I, received our gift of grace, our salvation from our Lord Jesus Christ; our Lord and Saviour.
In the winter of 2009, the Lord really moved me at a Bible conference I attended. I just wanted to surrender! My family and I sold all our belongings, except for two utility trailers of stuff, left everything behind and moved to Florida to attend Deland School of the Bible. While in Bible school we participated in parades, tract distribution, door to door, CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship), and the street ministry.
When we moved back to Wisconsin, for family reasons, we became members of Riverview Baptist Church and served in many capacities in ministry there. My wife, Connie, and I participated in an internship with Pastor Suri and his wife, which educated us about the many facets of church management and ministry. I had a wonderful opportunity to oversee a teen camping trip to the state of Illinois; which included 7 teens and myself. We learned a lot from our internship and serving in the ministries at Riverview Baptist Church, which we will be forever grateful to pastor Suri, his wife and our Lord for allowing us those opportunities of growth and learning.
Then, through the leading of the Lord we went back to Florida in 2012, with the goal of finishing Bible School, however after attending only another term of a little over a year more of Bible school, an opportunity to candidate for a church in Massachusetts arose. After much prayer and Godly counsel, we moved to Massachusetts for me to pastor the church.
Shortly after arriving in Massachusetts in October 2013, we continued to be busy serving the Lord with Bible Way Baptist Church in Auburn, Massachusetts. We became members of Bible Way Baptist Church and participated in various ministries. We had been praying and searching for God’s leading in where He would have us to go and what He would have us to do. We took a survey trip to the Philippines in November 2015, became missionaries to the Philippines and began deputation in 2015.
December of 2016 God lead us back to Wisconsin for missionary meetings and a new opportunity to pastor a church. In April of 2017 I was asked to become part of the pastoral staff of First Baptist church and in October of 2017 I became the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of River Falls.
Looking back on these past years we can see how God has been preparing us for the ministry and to live the lives of a ministry and missionary family. We have learned to sacrifice, many times go without, pray fervently, look to God and listen to the Holy Spirit. We have a love for God and his Word that at times is difficult to explain, a desire to share His Word, and see souls saved.
